Kaziranga(3N), Nameri(2N)

Day - 1 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Kaziranga

Your birding trip of the Northeast, the unexplored The Holiday Destinations will start with visiting Kaziranga. After receiving you at the airport, we will take you straight towards Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site situated in Assam. It is famous for the one horned rhinoceros and many other wildlife species and migratory birds. Every winter, this place witnesses a large number of migratory birds from Siberia and different other parts of the world. After reaching there, we will stay there for the night.

Day - 2 : Kaziranga Sightseeing

In the early morning, we will take you for elephant safari of the park.In elephant safaris, you will be taken to the interior areas of the park, nearby large water bodies where birds are easily viewable. You will get to see species like pelican, partridges, bustards, hornbills, parrotbills, quails, woodpeckers etc. We will also take you for jeep safari of the park. And, in the meantime we will show you around the local places like orchid garden, tea garden, ethnic village etc. The stay will be at the same hotel.

Day - 3 : Kaziranga Sightseeing

We will take you for elephant safari to another range of Kaziranga in the morning. We will also take you to the birding range – Agaratoli. Agaratoli is well known for the migratory birds. You will be staying at the same hotel in Kaziranga.

Day - 4 : Kaziranga To Nameri, Nameri Sightseeing

From there we will go to Nameri National park in the morning. Nameri is situated in the foothills of Himalayan ranges. Although it is famous for the wildlife, the prime tourist attractions in Nameri are adventure activities like angling, river rafting and jungle trekking. After reaching there we will take you for river rafting on Jia Bhoroli River. After having a fun day at Nameri, your stay will be at the Nameri Eco Camp.

Day - 5 : Nameri Sightseeing

The next day, we will take you inside the national park for jungle trekking. You will get to explore the jungle on foot through the small trails. Nameri is home to a wide range of Himalayan birds, and you can watch them during your trek. The popular birds of Nameri are white winged wood duck, hornbills, black stork, ibisbill etc. You will be staying at the same place for the night.

Day - 6 : Nameri to Guwahati, Airport Drop

From Nameri, we will return back to Guwahati. After reaching there we will drop you at the airport. If there is some time available, we will show you one or two sightseeing places in Guwahati. This will end you birding trip of northeast India.
