Day - 1 : Airport Pickup, Guwahati to Kaziranga

After picking you up at the airport in Guwahati, we will take you to Kaziranga. Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site situated in Assam. It is famous for the one horned rhinoceros and many other wildlife species and migratory birds. Kaziranga National Park is also identified as important bird area by Birdlife International for the conservation of the avifaunal species. Every winter Kaziranga witnesses migratory birds from Siberia and different other parts of the world. After reaching there, we will stay there for the night.

Day - 2 : Kaziranga Birding, Sightseeing & Safaris

In the early morning, we will take you for elephant safari of the park. On the back of elephant, you will be taken to the interior areas of the park which are generally not accessible by foot or jeep. You can view birds like pelican, partridges, bustards, hornbills, parrotbills, quails, woodpeckers etc. We will also take you for jeep safari. And, in the meantime we will show you around the local places like orchid garden, tea garden, ethnic village etc. The stay will be at the same hotel.

Day - 3 : Kaziranga Birding, Sightseeing & Safaris

We will take you for elephant safari to another range of Kaziranga in the morning. We will also show you the Agaratoli range which is mainly famous for the migratory birds. Also, do not forget to taste the ethnic and traditional cuisines of Assam. You will be staying at the same hotel in Kaziranga.

Day - 4 : Kaziranga To Nameri, Nameri Sightseeing

Next day, we will set out towards Nameri National park in the morning. It is also situated in Assam in the foothill of Himalayan ranges. Although Nameri is famous for the wildlife, the prime tourist attractions in Nameri are river rafting and jungle trekking. After reaching there we will take you for river rafting on Jia Bhoroli River. After having a fun day at Nameri, you will stay at the Nameri Eco Camp for the night.

Day - 5 : Nameri Birding

The next day, we will take you for the jungle trekking inside the park. You will get to explore the jungle on foot and also be able to view a few Himalayan bird species in Nameri. Nameri is home to white winged wood duck, hornbills, black stork, ibisbill etc. The stay will be at the same place in Nameri.

Day - 6 : Nameri to Eaglenest

From Nameri, we will take you to Eaglenest bird sanctuary on this day. Eaglenest is a beautiful hilly place in Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated around 50 kilometers away from Bomdila town, and is the heart of Himalayan birding in northeast India. Surrounded by lush grasslands and dense forest, it is situated in the Himalayan foothills. It is also identified as important bird area. The stay will be at Lama Camp.

Day - 7 : Eaglenest Birding

Next day, we will head out for birding in area of Eaglenest. You will be guided through the trekking trails and roads of the area. Eaglenest is a rich area of birds and the prime destination for birding in northeastern region of India. The endangered species Blyth’s tragopan is found here. Besides tragopan, other birds like northern goshawk, pied falconet, hawk-eagle, black-faced laughing-thrush, Chestnut-breasted partridge, Ferruginous Flycatcher, Lesser Shortwing, rufous-bellied bulbul,woodpeckers, babblers and hornbills are also found here. After covering a certain area of the forest, you will be taken back to the Lama Camp, where you will be staying for the night.

Day - 8 : Eaglenest Birding

On this day, you will be taken to the spot where you left on the previous. And from there your birding will continue. By the end of the day, you will complete all the birding sites around Lamacamp. The stay will be at the same place in Lama Camp.

Day - 9 : Lama Camp to Bamphu Camp & Birding

On this day, like the earlier day, you will be taken to the area where you left your trekking yesterday. To the north of Eaglenest, there are reserve forests of Bugun community also known as Bamphu Camp area. On your continuation of the trek, you will reach Bamphu Camp at the end of the day. You will be staying there at Bamphu Camp for the night.

Day - 10 : Bamphu Camp Birding

Next day, your exploration will be around Lama Camp. You will be taken to the interior areas of the reserve forest, where you can find the beautiful rare species of Himalayan birds. After completing all the birding areas of Bamphu Camp, you will stay at the same place of Bamphu Camp.

Day - 11 : Eaglenest to Dirang

Next day, we will take you to Dirang valley which is situated north from Bomdila. Dirang is a valley of the Himalayan foothills. It is also a famous area for birding. We will show you around Dirang, the places like Dirang – Dzong and the Tibetan villages. You will also see some beautiful Himalayan birds in this area. The stay will be at a hotel in Dirang.

Day - 12 : Dirang & selapass Birding

On this day we will take you further north of Dirang. We will take you to Sela Pass, which situated at around 13500 feet from mean sea level. On the way, we will show you a hot water spring located just outside of Dirang. After reaching Sela Pass, we will show you the places around there where the high altitude birds are seen. We will also show you the beautiful Sela Lake or Paradise Lake and Jaswantgarh War Memorial.

Day - 13 : Mondela & Dirang Birding

Next day, we will take you for birding tour in Mandala. Mandala is called the birder’s paradise. At a very high altitude, among the tropical evergreen forest, Himalayan eagles and hawks are among the birds those are seen in these areas. You will also get to Black throated Prinia, Eyebrowed Wren Babbler, Scaly-breasted wren-babbler, Grey-sided laughingthrush, Golden naped finch, Long Tailed Broadbill, Spotted nutcracker, Chestnut-tailed Minla, Golden-breasted fulvetta, Green tailed Sunbird, Pale-headed-woodpekker,and Wards Trogon. We will head back towards Dirang, to complete all the sightseeing places around Dirang valley. There is a very old electricity generating mill in Dirang. We will also take you to a tour of that place. The stay will be at Dirang.

Day - 14 : Dirang to Guwahati

We will head back towards Guwahati in the morning. After reaching there, we will take you to the Brahmaputra river cruise in the evening. You will enjoy the sunset in the heart of mighty Brahmaputra River. The stay will be at Guwahati.

Day - 15 : Guwahati Sightseeing, Airport Drop

Before dropping you at the airport, we will show you one or two places around Guwahati. We can show you the Kamakhya temple or Umananda (which is the smallest river island in the world) or Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra.
